The install instructions for the street heat TF intake I just bought says if I wanna use my stock 58 mm TB that I will need an adaptor? I thought that the adaptor fit fine with these? I know I need the intake adaptor but what else do I need? I bought the felpro gaskets...can anyone who has installed this manifold on a 94 or 95 send me a list of everything I will need to make this intake work properly...they also mention strut tower...thought that I didn't really need one of those either..

mine is in the garage, patiently waiting to go on. If you got the intake, adapter and gaskets you're set. Some tools are handy, what most don't have is a torque wrench, I'm getting one for this job. Get some RTV, teflon tape, and some hose clamps, these are just foresight. I also got a new T-stat and gasket, cap and rotor, and coolant temp sensor, thses are just cheap maintenace. Did you get that adaptor yet, your t-body will work with it, you'll just need to pull the studs out of the old intake.. The strut tower brace will have to go, hock it to a guy with a six cylinder car, you can replace it witha different style, but you don't need to, some guys around here say they don't feel a differnece anyway. good luck, Hef

If you have access to a welder, the stock STB can be made to fit very easily.

As previously said, you NEED a torque wrench. When you go deeper and deeper into motor work, precise torque readings are a must.
