This is a dark, dark corner of my past....I don't know how to say this. I...I used to own an acura integra. There I said it. Yes and it did have pep. But it's like comparing apples and oranges. To me it's not Just about HP and speed but the driving experience. Doing burnouts with my 5.0 and fishtailing all over parking lots is just different that drifting around with a little sewing machine motor and doing front wheel chirps.

yesterday I was at my cousin's garage (car lot) and a red 4.6 GT Mustang pulls in. My cousin sold him that car last year. The guy is now looking for a mini-van because he's finishing up his project Mustang (91 coupe with mod motor) and doesn't need two Mustangs. The funny thing is when he said "I needed to get rid of the Integra because I needed something with a little balls - that's why I bought the GT". lol

Lol, I too hate the "brand/import/domestic wars" fights. I just like well built cars that do what they were built for well.

But when I do get that kinda crap from people driving newer, powerful, and smaller displacement engines I like to joke with them that I just beat them with a heavier car thats twenty years old and using 1960's technology. Like someone posted before, every underdog likes to boast its weaknesses

Kind of like there is a difference between black people and ...... True hotrodders will hotrod anything, and there are plenty of ricer's that drive mustangs, I think the worse kinds of ricers drive V6 mustangs. I know a few people who have some badass imports and they hate ricers worse than we do. They don't walk around making excuses or talking a lot of smack, they are like all other true racers, "want to run them". If they win, they win, if they loose, they loose, that's it. No sorry "Well mine's only a 4 cylinder" crap.

Here is the thing, this is the USA (Ok maby a few Canadians but oh well) we are not issued a car to drive, nor are we regulated on what kinds of cars we can drive. Cheap powerfull cars are plentifull. So the 4 cylinder excuse is not valid. So anyone who makes excuses such as their car is cylinder and/or displacment challenged, is also mentally challeged because that is the car they chose.

Oh, and 90MustangGT, have you ever seen an 81 Toyota Celica? Doesn't look even close to a girls car, and yes it is rear wheel drive. When you start out with 98 hp stock and get it to over 300hp, that is quite an accomplishment for a 4 cylinder. On a 5.0, to get an extra 100 hp you put intake, exhaust, heads, injectors, and a fuel pump, all basic bolt on piesces. My Celica will scream all day long at 9500 rpms, will your 5.0's do that? Oh, and have you ever seen the Titan Motor Sports Celica or they're Supra, street legal Supra I should add. And as stated by someone else, they'res a difference between ricers and hot rodders. And yes, I drive a Mustang also, the 347 stroker is currently in it with over 450 hp at the wheels. But people like you calling people "gay" and all that other stuff is imature and you're the ones giving Mustang owners a bad reputation. A Mustang is an American Icon, and when you go around calling other peoples cars "gay" and stuff, when I see that, as a younger person, why would I want to be part of a group of people that are ignorant and childish (i'm not saying all of you are ignorant and childish, just the ones that are calling em gay and all that other junk) and it seems like the childish out weigh the normal level headed people in the Mustang community. To all you that give imports there dues, thank you. To the rest of you that call em gay and girls cars and all that other stuff, GROW UP!

Well c'mon man....you can't say the import crowd IS mature or nonchildish. maybe a select few, but the sheer number of older enthusiasts in the Mustang crowd easily offsets any mature people you'll find in the import scene.

Also no offense to anyone, but i sure didn't vote for 90MustangGT to be the spokesperson for all of the Mustang community, regardless of how he acts. Your using him as an example for the rest of us is just as bad as him calling ricers gay.
