And on the opposite end of the spectrum, you could give me a BMW M6 and i would spit on it and have a for sale sign on the thing in a matter of minutes.

When I was 17 my uncle took me for a ride in his new 87 5.0 5 speed LX. I really liked it.

When I was 20 a friend of mine pulled up in front of my house with a mint 84 t-top 5.0 5 speed. The car was just beautiful to me.

I could finally afford a new car in 93 when I turned 23 and the electric red 5.0 5 speed LX was the only car I looked at. It now has 168,000 miles on it. It has never had the valve covers off. Other than minor things like the radiator, alternator, water pump, and heater core I have not done anything major to it. I will admit that I am on my fourth T-5 though.

I just recently picked up my 86 t-top 5.0 GT which is another car I have always dreamed of. Now I just need to find the money to fix them up.

I just have always liked Fox Mustangs

Then I'd take mine to the nearest Toyota dealer, and trade it on a new Tundra 4X4 4dr, that'd tow the new enclosed trailer(with my Fox in it) that I'd get with the money from the GT500(or whatever nameplate they throw on to sell it).

Same here, and don't even get me started on my Post Lotto Fantasy Fox Bod. lol My '92 would be turned into a crazy sleeper. By looking at it the only hint that something is going on would be the lowered stance and 10" Pony R's out back. Once I start it though, the gig is up. "Why is your car whistling?"

I drive a Fox because it FITS me. I feel most at home in a Fox. I LOVE MY FOX.

Even though I owe an '04 Mustang as a DD, I still drive my Capri more. I could DD a Fox again easily.

Why wouldn't I drive a fox is the question anyway....
I drive a fox because when i was young my dad and grandpop got me into mustangs.Even before i could talk i loved them all.But when i was young my dad had a silver 86 GT and his buddy built up a couple fox's(a nasty '90 lx 'vert and 89 GT) ever since then i wanted a fox and now i have my own fox that i fixed up and modding. The Fox Body will always have a place in my heart. Plus who doesnt like the sound of a cammed 302 idling ? And it's like a vacation everytime i get in it. it may not handle well or have good brakes or be the fastest car but it's a fox and thats all part of owning one.

Nice! See, the good folks at Toyota spend more money, they made in America, building plants(building which employs Americans) that employ Americans, building their trucks they sell to Americans, so they can build more plants that make more cars in America, while our American company's build plants in Mehico or Canada, sending the Americans they used to employ to the breadline, just to go up the hill and ask for tax dollars so they can employ more Mehicans(cuz they're cheaper than Gringo's)- and, I'm on my second early 90's, 200K, Toyota DD, with ice cold air, and so forth- and I'm a union member- the big 3 just don't do me so proud, I need what works! Please, no suckee teh wang!

Wow....I guess someone should have told Toyota of Canada that before they put up that 3.2 Billion dollar, 3-million square foot building, on 400-acres of land not one hour from my parents place in Cambridge, Ontario 15-years ago, huh?

Their trucks might currently be built in the US, but their most popular cars (Corolla, Matrix, RAV4, Lexus RX 330, Lexus RX 350) are built exclusively right here in Ontario, Canada by Canadian workers.....about 4,500 Canadian workers to be precise.

The saying "Made in America" doesn't necessarily mean The United States of, you know?

pretty much after I get mine right, its gone forever and im getting a 97+ vette (start new job monday and will be saving up pronto)

why? pretty damn easy to work on (except the whole trans thing). they get 30mpg, can make 350+ hp with nothing but some headers and a tune. driveability is great and they sound tits with a good cam/ heads package.

so flame me if you will but from having and rebuilding alot of crap on my 7 mustangs and destroying alot of t5's. and getting harassed from every cop there is (except 93cleangt: your awesome mang!!) Im pretty much done with foxes, just want something different for a while..

the same thing that happened to the big three will happen to toyota and honda. The people at the top, who design a great car, have to put up with the greedy bastards at the bottom, who pull the triggers on the torque wrenches all day. Eventually, the american slobs that toyota and honda employ will get enough of a stake in them to destroy them the same way they destroyed the big three. Its the american way. I suppose i am biassed though since i am an engineering student in america, and am too smart / educated to beleive in toyotas hype (TRIPLLE TECH aka TOTAL CRAP tundra frames), yet have to just shake my head at ford doing virtually the same thing with the s197/shelby/5.0/GT500/any other special edition mustang...

Doll face? I thought this was a family show!Hey, Americans are everybody, anymore, I just know what I got in my driveway don't break, and it say Toyota on it. I like that in a car. But what I NEED to drive, and what I LIKE to drive are 2 different things, I don't care who makes it, the best, cheapest way to get to work everyday is what I'm using, and this has turned out to be the case. I love Fords, and my Fox, but they don't do certain things so well as others do. IMO.

back on topic... lets make another thread about crapyotas vs fords... this thread cant end on this note.

i drive my fox b/c its loud, obnoxious and uncomfortable, and its unlike any other mustang, i like that i can pull into a gas station between a 16 y/o girl and with her 96 v6 and a 50 something guy with his brand new 09 GT. and they will both be like "wtf is this thing? why are my eyes burning?"
