I've got a magnaflow catted x pipe with magnaflow magnapacks and the sound is amazing to me. You definitely get more hp from an xpipe also as well.

I've never heard anyone knock on xpipes except for bbk, and the occassional bassani.

I had a prochamber with stinger catback setup, and bassani x, with stinger catback setup, and the prochamber wins hands down. Wish I didn't spend money on the x, and spent it to make the prochambers fit with my headers.

....you and your F'n Flowpaths.....

thats a VRS x-pipe with Mac cat-back by the way. yes ive posted it before, and yes i'll whore it out again. many, many times

theres nothing wrong with an X-pipe, it just makes a bit more power than an H and has a higher tone. the BBK X, im sorry to say, ive heard nothing but bad things about. thats why i recommended getting a VRS x-pipe thats made to fit BBK headers. I hope it works out for you with the BBK X, but all ive heard its bitching about that thing.

Thanks for that video, not all of us have seen it and that car sounds great. Nothing wrong with the loud sound an xpipe makes but i also like the sound an h pipe makes,my neighbor has a camaro ss with an off road h pipe and it sounds awsome, really deep.

I've had different X pipes one being BBK and the other being something off of Ebay. This morning I finished putting on my Prochamber o/r H. By far my favorite sound and setup to go with my 2 chamber 40 series

no problem, i think that thing sounds awesome

im not trying to put down H-pipes, just defending teh X! H-pipes and chambered muffs sound great, no doubt. but not everyone wants that sound that a lot of people have. the x-pipe offers an alternative and sounds great on a lot of different mufflers.

Do camaros have h pipes? Thought they came with the "fake" dual exhaust, via Y pipe.

i think they can be converted into H-pipes, and a lot of people do that. i mean its just bent tubing right?

i respect the power the x-pipes make over h-pipes but it's not that much over...

this whole threat proves that there's an "ass for every seat"

I have magnaflow catback w/VRS O/R X-pipe. It screams up top, yet it isn't raspy. It's throaty, but nothing overly obnoxious. I love it and a couple local 03 Cobra guys actually think my car sounds better than theirs.
