I have a 92 5.0 fox. On the street it's a monster, but at the track it bogs really bad off the line! 60ft & 330ft times are horrible but 1/8 on I'm just about runnin everyone down. It's got all msd equip. And nos, have not sprayed yet. Just tryin to find out why it falls on it's face out of the whole.

What rpm are you launching at? What tires? What clutch? Whats the combo?

i have the same issue...i think it is a little bit of two things..not enough power+too much traction..i have had luck with taking the revs up and sliding off the clutch slowly and kind of ride the clutch a bit to keep the revs up where you want them without spinning or bogging. start out at 3k and work your way up..i was getting low 1.8 60 fts with this method on radials...last time i was at the track i attempted to let the clutch fly at 4500 with drag radials to see if it would still bog.....shouldnt have done that on my first run...i got great traction....the shaft couldnt handle it and snapped on the line.

take your tire pressure as high as it will go without spinning off the line

find what launch rpm works for your motor combos power band. use that rpm and work the air pressure till it leaves with just a bit of tire spin
