I guess im more of a classic kid, and at 18 i like loud stuff lol

Im getting a 2000 GT that still has the stock exhaust and want to go with a BBK offroad X-pipe with 40 series flowmasters......now not only do i like the look, but i LOVE the sound of dumps, it sounds lower, meaner and better IMO. Now i havent heard much on the 4.6 forums about them so what are your oppinions?????

1st off, i would say steer away from the BBK xpipe. too many ppl say that dont sound very well. try maybe UPR or the Mustangtuning xpipe, or if u can afford a little more, the Magnaflow or Bassani. havent heard a 4.6 w/ o/r xpipe and dumped Flows....im going to check mustangexhaust.com and see. i bet it would sound pretty good though

A lot of people do not like dumps because it will bring fumes into your car and its sort of a cheap way to make your car sound better. If you need to echo off the road and the bottom of your car to make it sound mean then your car isnt mean at all.

Plus our cars look gay with those exhaust cut outs in the bumper, if you do not have tips I mean.

Could kill you with fumes.

Go with side exhaust and v6 bumper.

Or run SLP CB witch is louder then dumps !!

I'm running dumps on mine. I decided to go with dumps because of weight savings, and so I wouldn't have to worry about trying to get a perfect alignment on the tailpipes. Cheap way to make my car sound better?

As far as the fumes go, yes you will smell the exhaust. It's not going to kill you...it's not even that bad under normal conditions. On a hot summer day with, dead stopped in traffic with your windows down and engine running, the fumes can get to you though.
