Toledo oh
So motor is rebuilt, back in the car, I was going to start it up and it cranked but wouldn't catch. Checked fuel in the clear filter, and it didn't seem to continue to be feeding. It sloshed a bunch in there but didn't seem to be continuing to feed, so I thought fuel. Then I checked spark, and it didn't have spark either. So I traced my wiring, double checked grounds, and found a couple wires backwards. I fixed that, tried to crank again, and immediately got a backfire that sounded like a .308. I mean ear ringing, neighbors coming outside, glad the kids were inside, permanent damage for someone 3 ft tall standing behind the car, even through mufflers kind of loud. Now I'm terrified I hurt something, and im worried to try again. Anyone got any advise? Did I bend a rod or valve? Crack a piston? I can't express enough how effing loud it was, scared the absolute soul out of me.
