why in the H is my car busting trannys and driveshafts!?

Look at my mods below, im not running a effing 500hp monster engine why is my car going through driveshafts and trannys. I've replaced them both twice already, next im going tremec & aluminum. anyone else had as bad as luck as me with a damn near stock motor?

the rear ujoint both times.....and the the entire inside of the tranny was stripped up all the gears and the shaft the first time.....now its just grinding 3rd gear and i dont even drive it hard

Stop beating on it.... Or go to a different transmission guy and ask. I just had mine rebuilt at 125,000. Has 2000 on it now and is fine.

lol thats the whole thing....i DONT beat on it. I may get on it every once and a while but not enough to be busting up stuff....i know people that drive thier **** hard EVERYDAY and never break stuff.


oh well im gonna look into a g-force rebuild & alum. shaft to go with it.

Are you the original owner? My trans has 148+k on it and no problemo with my combo.

Go to someone that knows trannys. Not just a guy in his backyard. You'll pay extra but it'll be worth it... I could have got a ford racing tranny for 900 but payed 1600 and it was worth it imo

Please tell me you didnt pay 1600 bucks for a T5 or a T5 rebuild

For the u-joints I woudl say your control arms bushings are probably shot. this will cause extremem angles on that u-joint, that means binding and quick failure...

As for the trans, maybe the case is bad...

I agree with Chris above me. Something is out of whack or has excessive movement when under load. Given the info provided, that is what comes to mind (though it very well might not be the case at all).
