Now check the air filter if you haven't. Chances are that if your MAF was dirty enough to make the car do that bad, the filter is dirty. And if it's a K&N style, don't put a ****load of oil in it. It'll just get onto the sensor......

ya i have a k&n and thats good to know not to put to much oil on... but it was definetly from the previous owner b/c even when i got the car it was pretty slow...nothing like it is now.

Just think, they might have sold it because it was so slow.

If you clean your filter run it for a day then re clean the maf. even if you do light oil some can still make it onto sensor.

Heh...after reading the first post I was anxiously awaiting type "MAF! MAF! MAF!" down here...I'm glad you guys already have it fixed.
