I beleive I know the answear to this but feel free to enlighten me if I am totally off, I drive an 04 GT auto with a SCT tuner and a shift kit. When I floor it from a dig my car accelerates rather aggresively, there seems to be more power through first gear, yet if I am rolling at like 15 mph and punch it its not nearly the same, is that because its already in 2nd? is there anyway to change this so when I go WOT I have the same effect as I do in 1st when I am at a stop or a slow roll (5-10 mph)

Man from a 15 roll it should kick down to first??? maybe your not punching it hard enough? but thats the thing with autos man, nasty off the line but sluggish from a roll

Look through the SCT tuner and see if you can modify anything with ****s. I know my when I had mine tuned my tuner has it to where my car wont down shift at anything above 15-20 mph. He did it because all it does is enilate the tires but I still like to get on it from that speed. The easiest thing to do is to turn OD off or just shift down into "2" and you will be in first.
