Don't waste your money on any CAI. Just stick with your K&N drop-in. All CAI don't really do anything at all in the summer. IMO you lose hp in the summer time because the metal gets burning not. Keep just the K&N, and you're set. :)

the stock one with k&N

The steeda kit looks nice i have to admit tho

I don't think it is a waste. A bit more than it should cost for a freeking tube I have to admit. I like having as few stock things visible as possable under the hood. heh, It makes clueless people think you have a SC :rlaugh: .. Yes I have had to explain what it was before.

Well, lets get a few things straight here. CAI kits are NOT a waste and do yield some performance. Now, that depends entirely on which kit you look at. CAI's constructed of any non-coated/insulated metal definitely is a waste. In fact, the CAI acts like a conductor of heat and can superheat the intake charge, actually decreasing poerformance. CAI's constructed of non heat conducting materials and are free of major bends and curves have proven to add a little of performance and , as someone mentioned, a bit of a throatier exhaust note. Personally, I'd go with Densecharger or a Morpheus Power Pipe (dyno-proven results), w/ a high-flowing filter.
