Shot some night commentary at the request of my good pal LaserSVT. I like them in whole - i was surprised at how visible they are from outside the car, but that's being about a car back - parallel/side by side you don't see much. Not too bright, especially the trans temp - very evenly lit.

Putting this up for people doing searches, and also to say i'd recomend having a shop do this (have to for the trans pan tig tapping) - it's a lot of work. And the American Muscle pods WILL needs some screws, the mounting tape and general shape of the pod don't compliment each other.

those look really clean.
they dont distract you while driving at night? because my radar lights are the same color, and they annoy the hell out of me, but i can dim the light whenever.
Not really. I mean, in the video they look super bright because its the camera's only light source - and i mean they are bright, but not distracting once you're used to them there. Depends on the angle you put them at, it mainly illuminates my left shoulder.

Really cool video...since I am looking to buy a wideband right now.

I was surprised at how much the a/f ratio fluctuates...even at a standstill.

Thanks for taking the time to post that.

Eric
Yeah, my pleasure. I've seen wideband before - so it's normal to fluctuate that much. Most stable when at WOT ironically enough.

Looks sic budy, I just posted this question on the S197 on forum on how to tap the auto trans for the temp gauge ! Thanks fot the Vid.... And you can barely hear the leak ! LOL !
Ha, nice. This is how mine is done except tig welded aluminum bung instead of brazing the stock bung:
Installing a Transmission Temperature Gauge

Yeah the leak is mostly not in the vids (pretty much just at the end of the 1st) , just the cams mainly:p It pops and is audible at random times based on rpm.
