Silly question but I just put 275s on the back of my car. Look great but they are definitely sticking out that back. Just curious if other running wide tires have had any problems with stone chips or kick back from tires and have you done anything to minize it. Could always put mud flaps on I guess

I have 275 rears on my car and have not had any problems. I am sure it could be worse with a different offset. But 3M makes a plastic film that you could put on the side of your car to protect it. It looks fine, you only see a very thin line at the edges. A lot of people run it on the front of their car to protect the paint, since bras are awful for a car and look terrible.

Mudflaps....they work wonderfully...

Stereotypical Person "whooooooa bro, you put mudflaps on a muscle car maaaan?"

screw them...its all about function.

Here are mine. 275 tires as well.

Good choice, that stuff is near invisable.3M products are top notch.
I ran 275's on my 99 and 04 gt religiously but never got any rock chips.
Then again I dont go offroading, just do alot of highway driving.
