Wierd Smell

heres a wierd smell under my hood
i dunno how to describe it
kinda reminds me of a smell of a burned out vacuum cleaner or something...
what do you think it might be? on a quick inspection i dont see any oil leaking

maybe radiator fluid or something??

94 mustang gt btw

any smoke? maybe some animale made a nest somewhere and its slowly melting/burning

sounds like a wire burning, I had the same thing before. Turned out it was the wire that goes to the back of the alternator, it was arching casing the rubber boot on it to melt

have you smelled your radiator hoses specifically? Dont ask.

Antifreeze has a very distinctive sickly-sweet smell that once you identify it you will never mistake it again.

Could be the recall on the fan relay. Get it checked out @ Ford for free.

If it has that crispy electrical smell, check your alternator.
