Has anyone put 17x8 GT Wheels from a modern Mustang on a 67/68? If so, how did it look and fit?

I can buy a set of '02 GT Wheels (17x8) for a good price and need to know if they will work...

The Backspacing is all wrong on the modern wheels. To make them work you need to run between 1 inch and 1.25 inch adaptors (depending on the wheels) to get them to fit. These adapters bolt to your current hubs using the stock lugs and have new lugs on them that the wheel then bolts to. You can not safely install these wheels on the car using a standard spacers IMO.

You can check out my wheel charts to find out what overall backspacing will work best in your application and find out what tires to run and then order up the adaptors to make the correct backspacing

Do you have any pics of what the modern wheels look like on a 67/68?
