Got a cobra intake kit 70mm tb phenolic spacer cold air intake. Figured I would change the injectors should I go with 19# or 24# will i need to convert to mass air? What should I set the fuel pressure at?

You don't need 19's. Why are you replacing the injectors anyways?

You think i should go with the 24# injectors? Im replacing them because the car has 135k on it and i replaced 1 injector before, so while im doing the intake install i might as well install new injectors since everything is going to be apart.

You are gonna need either a chip or convert to Mass Air to run 24's.

You aren't at the HP level yet to even need them.

I would go with 24's since you probably will plan on upgrading in the future

Except he can't put them in unless he burns a chip or converts to mass air.

Set your fuel pressure to 39psi with vacuum off.

Like 5L5 says - run 19's; set the pressure at 38-40psi warm idle set with the vacuum line off and plugged. When you put the vacuum line back on, it should drop you down to 32-34 psi at warm idle.

Mike, i wouldnt say a chip is NEEDED for 24's.... with my combo, it runs perfectly fine and did great on the dyno! the only problem i had was that it leaned out after 4500, which was said to be my stock pump not having enough volume.. I bought a 255 pump and will make it back to the dyno sometime this week to see how it goes.... again, i directly swapped to 24's with no issues whatsoever, but you are right. he dont need 24's for what he has now

It can be made to work, but i have seen problems. We tried to put 24's ona friend's '88 and even though we got it to run nice and strong, we gained so much more power when we converted the car over to mass air.
