It all depends on the backspacing of your wheel. I have the AFS 18x10.5 (6.9" backspace) wheels with 295/35 drag radials. If you jack the entire back end of the car up it will hit the IRS bolt. Normal ride height with Eibach springs I have no problems.
Yeah I got the same 03 AFS wheels and went with a 295 any more would rub. But I know they sell spacers and button head bolts for the IRS. Its supposed to give you a little more room. Anybody use any of this stuff. I would like to go with a 315 next time around. One more thing if you load the car real good like when your doing 140 and the bottom of the road falls away as you cross an overpass. Even the 295's rub the lip of the quarter panel.
I am running 315 BFG KD's on AFS 10.5" 03 cobras. You will need the button head bolt and spacers to clear everything. I didn't use the spacers because I narrowed the rear subframe bracket. Remember that BFG's run wide compared to Nittos, etc. You might be able to get away with just one or the other on a 295.
