Will 351W fit in 5.0?

Anyone know if a 351W out of a '69 Mustang will fit in a late 80's 5.0 body/chassis?
It would not need to pass emissions, so any computer stuff could probably just be removed from the equation, right?

Is the '69 block a good sturdy block to build a stroker with (like a 392 or 408). Wanting to make somewhere between 400-500 rwhp.

I did search, I did read, and I am still asking because the sticky you indicate was initiated well over a year ago. I was hoping for comments that might be new or opinions from members who might not have been members when that sticky was created.
I guess if your only allowed to ask new questions that have never been asked, this forum will go dead in no time. Thanks anyway I guess.

I can't really tell you about the strength of a 351 block becuase I have never been around them. Some people on here can though.... What I can tell you is that the 5.0L engine should be able to handle 400 horsepower if you tune it well. I am not sure about the 351's limit like I said, but it has to be stronger than the stock 5.0L block.

The 69 block is one of the best blocks you can use. The main webs are much thicker which gives it better strength. I think this applied through 74?

Feel free to ask any question you want. Just keep in mind that some people have been members for a long time and have answered the same question more times than they care to remember. The purpose of the sticky was to get some of those questions recorded, along with the answers. Don't be offended when your asked to do searches, it's just that some topics are beaten to death on this forum. For example cold/ram air intakes.
Give the sticky an in depth read. If you still have questions post them in the sticky. That way when others have the same question it will be easy for them to find your answer.
