I don't think it will fit. And if it does I still wouldnt do that. Just stick with the parts made for our cars. Not the mod motors.

Forget about it. It will not fit! Our 302's and the 4.6 or 5.4 mod motors are compleatly diff. Other than being built bye ford, they have nothing in common.

For one, aren't the mod motors like 4 inches wider than ours??? Even if it could fit, you'd have to have a custom lower fabricated for you.....that's at least a 5grand job....so 1400 is all of a sudden 6500 and you have to get a custom hood cause it's sticking up too high, that's another 600 painted, then you think that the double TB intake is gonna work? sorry, that's more custom fabrication......I think you get the point.....if you wanna be cheap...buy a novi-1000 or some charger made for our car on e-bay, I know a used one can be had for 1500 or so if you keep your eyes open

This is one of those "if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't be working on your car" questions.

yes it is possible, but you have to do a few small things. You need to change over your chassis to that of an F-150 lightning, get a body kit that makes your car look like a lightning, a full kit, with the bed and all. You need to get bigger sidewall tires, and 18 inch Lightning Rims, and altezza taillights. Also you need Lightning headlights and fog lamps. Oh, and you'll have to modify your 5.0 to a 5.4 litre modular engine, and then you should be good to go. Good luck!

oh hey, don't forget the custom seats that say "lightning" on them! In all seriousness danny, go pick up some mustang magazines or just look around on the internet about the differences between mustangs and stuff, You've got a LOOONG way to go before you start buying superchargers, let alone installing them.

Wouldn't have to convert to a lightning, just get a MM K-member, and then the 5.4 longblock and swap 'er in. Would be quite a project, and costly, but cool. Seems like I remember a picture of a Fox body that swapped in a 5.4L from a Lightning -- the top of the blower was well over halfway up his windshield in height...

MM&FF Magazine has a project car like that. I think it's called project Frightning. Looks real mean with the blower sticking out of a hole in the hood.

i got a crazy high hood..it would probably fit under...
but did you see that setup?its brand new and packed with everything!

im lookin for a supercharger but not a two month project..i was hoping maybe some drilling or milling, some tapping and threading, bending and mending..

my main question is........would that manifold bolt on to the 5.0???????????
i think if it bolts on w/minor fab the rest is butter.

ill let you all know if i come up w/any good info thanks for the replys
