Will 6 1/2's fit in my door?

Like it says, will those fit with no problem or will there be cutting I will need to do?
And how about in the rear, I asume it's the same as the door. I searched and had seen that a few of you have them in your stangs but I was wondering about the fit you had.

Crutchfield is kinda vague on that, I know I'm gonna have to fab something to mount tweets.

As far as I know, they wont fit without some fabrication. The stock speakers are 6x8s, so you can fit 5x7s or 6x8s no problem. Same for the rear. I just got a set of MB Quart 6x8 components for the front for like $120. It might be easier to jsut find a set of 6x8 components if you dont want to fab antyhing.

Yeah I know it will need some fab, I mean wen I put the tweets in the upper mounts that alone is gonna be a PITA, I was just wondering how much cutting I would have to do.

you would be better off going with 6x8 than all that cuttin and fab work.

Most stereo shops, mine included stock 5x7 to 6 1/2 adapters for $15. Check your local Best buy or call Crutchfield. I have Kicker 6 1/2 RS components in my front doors.
