I'm looking for a little extra clearance with the oem 93 Cobra wheels on my 90 GT. I've read where the Cobra rotors have a taller "hat" on them. Will the 93 Cobra rotors directly work on a 90 GT, or would I have to change something else also? Thanks for your help.

As far as i know they are direct swap..will even use same wheel bearings.

Quick check is to look up wheel bearing p/n on autozone.com. If they are the same, you are good to go.

Ok...I checked at Autozone. The wheel bearing part numbers do match.

Can someone please outline the procedure on swapping rotors? I've looked in my Haynes manual and had very little luck on swapping rotors. Thank you so much.

I did that conversion on my 91 GT. The front rotors are a direct bolt in, if you keep the rear drums, you will have to use a wheel spacer so the back tracks the same as the front. I put the Cobra rear disc's on mine along with the longer Cobra axles (3/4") and it was good to go. Its a pricey upgrade, using the front and rear spindles and axles from a 94/95 is almost the same price, if not a little less and you'll have a 5 lug set up.

Yeah, I'm already running 3/4 inch spacers in the rear.

Will someone give their honest opinion on these rotors in this link:

(I'm kinda on a budget)
