Will a 1994 GT Rear End Fit a 2001 GT?

My rear end is all funky and been looking for a replacement for a while. Found a 1994 GT with 60K miles with a perfect rear end (rotor 2 rotor). Will it be a direct fit on my 01 GT or will I have to do some customizing?

It will fit, but it will be 3/4" narrower on each side, which will suck the wheels in a bit. Also, the bolt holes for the lower control arms are smaller on the 94-98 rears, but I can't remember the size?

Thanks..I have 10.5" wide 18 inch wheels with 295 tires in the back, so the sucking in part shouldn't be a problem right?...ill sell him my wheels if needed.

Be sure to check for clearance to the quad shocks. If need be, you should be able to run spacers to make up the difference.
