The rims are 03 Cobra replicas 18" x 9" (+26mm, 6.11" backspace). I was just wondering if they will rub in the front on a 96 cobra. I have heard that 275 is to wide on the front of the pre-99 Mustangs. Is this true?
do you plan on dropping it? I have the saleen knockoffs with 265 35 18's, and is a perfect fit. they have only rubbed a couple of times, but never while cornering or anything. When I dropped it with the h&r's the factory tires rubbed, surprisingly with a little trimming (with the stock wheels still on it) no rubbing. where the washer fluid resevior protrudes into the inner fender. good luck
