will a 31 spline locker work in my case?

I currently have a 28 spline trac lock type posi. If I purchase just a detroit locker 31 spline will it work in my case and with my gears so I can get 31 spline axles?

yeah... if you go to a bigger than 31 spline, then you need the case with bigger bearings..

I heard when I was building mine, there was a company that contemplating making a bearing that could fit a 31 spline axle, in a small bearing rear. Something to look into.
