I got this kid who wants to race. Its Freshly rebuilt car, Non-Turbo v-6 rated at 175hp stock, 5-speed, with "venom Injectors" and a slip-on wong pipe. Do i have any chance of beating this guy from a stop or a roll? with my mods?

How about a 89' LX 5.o 5-speed with boltons,drag radials,intake, no gears.

please reply and i will print it out for him.

if its non turbo he has no chance at all. but make sure he isnt telling you its non turbo messing with you, if it is then it has potential to be fast.

are you joking? you should kick the living $hit out of him. if you have any trouble at all with him then there is something seriously wrong with your car. you probably have 100 hp on him and more than 100 torque.

shouldnt be a problem...the non-turbo 300's are not exactly the fastest car Nissan ever made...and thats being nice...

I beat the crap out of a newer one the other night...beat him bad. Yours is prolly faster than mine so you shouldn't have a problem.

Just remember what I have done when from a roll is not to just mash the gas down shift then mash the gast then power shift, works everytime. Not to mention I don't think the nissan has any chance.

I used to have an 86 300ZX turbo and it felt like it had a little more mid-top end power than my stang, but it had almost no low end torque. I'd say you could easily beat a stock turbo car, and a N/A 300ZX would be cake

Heheh my buddy had one of those. It was a non turbo. He had an intake and exhaust. All i can say is let em have a head start if he wants. Those things are so slow they cant even get outta there own way!
