yes, i had one with a 1/2 inch spacer, no problems

I run one on my 95GT with stock hood.

No Spacer btw

Top front corner just barely touches the hood blanket.

Don't know if there is more or less room under the hood you speak of in this thread

Theres a bit more. If you look at a 96-98 cobra you will see a bit of a bubble between the two nostrils

Im using a stock hood, 3/8 spacer, a typhoon lower intake, and edelbrock performer upper and all fits well. You will need the modified strut tower brace tho.
