I work at a parts department. We sell those Bridgestones all the time. From what customers tell me the ride is horrible. Almost the same complaint you have. Car pulls, wonders all over the road, etc. Their also a pretty pennie to put on also. We sell them for around 325 ea. Maybe thats your problem. Bad Tires.

I bought a reman rack at Autozone. My front end was squeeling like a pig when turning the wheel and making a whine like a bed spring. It was awfully embarrassing. It first did it almost a year ago, but then went away after a couple of days. It started up again about a week ago, so I did the repairs myself over the weekend.

It was $150 for the rack and VERY well worth it. After putting the rack in with new tie rod ends, the bed spring noise was gone, but I still had a pretty good squeel when wiggleing the wheel. I took it all apart again and put in a new ball joint ($15 part) and my front end is like new now. NO squeeks and the wheel is as firm as brand new. I guessed on the alignment and although it is riding great, I am going to replace the other ball joint, then take it for an alignment before I burn up my tires.

I have 245's on 9" wheels up front too. I have zero play in my steering wheel, and the car still goes where it wants (looks like I'm drunk under 70 mph). If it bothers you that bad, put some skinnies up there.

edit: glad you found a fix.
