My goal with this car has always been 14's @ 90. I'm running 15.20@89 right now. I know I'm shooting low but thats my realistic goal. I've heard new control arms cut 60' time dramatically. Do you think this alone will cut 2/10ths in the 1320?

if u get the drag racing ones, then yes, if u get road racing ones, you'll be a bit slower than with stock ones. also, you'll need good drag tires to take full advantage of new drag control arms. You'll suffer on the handling side with these tho.

Man you should be doing better than that. Especially with the 2500 stall. I've got mine down to 14.4 @ 96 with just 3.73's, CAI, UD pullies, H-pipe w/cats, catback, drag radials and an AODE. What are your 60' times like? Are you spinning off the line? if so I think you should look into drag radials. They will probably help you more than the control arms will. JMO.

why would he be slower with aftermarket control arms whether they are drag specific or not??? I think they will all be better than stock. I need help with my 60's too and "m thinking about getting the maximum motorsports adjustable ones. The only problem is they are $380.

Your car should be running faster for sure. What are your 60's??? Have you cleaned your mass air sensor???

Control arms will do next to nothing for you now. You need some drag radials. Get an offroad H pipe or go for a set of longtubes with H.

why is your 60 so low? no power?

do you flash your stall or what?

Do you hit your rev limiter a lot?? I have a similar set-up as you and couldn't get out of the 15's until I got a chip form JMS. I kept hitting the rev limiter all the time when I got the 4:10's put in. My current best is 14.651 and I have my chip to thank for that. I also have an AODE vert in full trim and know how hard it is to get them moving.

2.5 h-pipe

He might not be as slow as his times reflect, My Cobra ran 15.0 last time, (severe tire spin on unprepped track did 14.5 bone stock on a different track b4), and it was running good, same night a wrx was running high 15's and a 99+ gt ras running high 15's as well. May just be his location. Anyway guy, when I did RLCA's on mine I didn't feel a lick of difference in its biting abilities. Still a tire spinner with nitto drags and the RLCA's. On that track on that night mine would only do a 2.3 60'. 1st was virtually useless at any throttle position. My subframes have actually seemed to make the biggest difference, hopefully with those and the 315's it'll hook harder next time out.

I suppose you are spinning bad off the line. My 60ft times suck hard also. I have stock rims/tires. I get no traction whatsoever. I wouldn't do a burn out really radial tires. Because the Sticky compound they put on the track doesn't stick very well to radial tires. My suggestion would be to find some old rims, and get you a set of slicks. They are pretty resonable. My are has a few things done to it, and it spun for days. I have to let out of it because it just hurts my 1/4 time. I ran a 15.2... and before I had the mods... 15.0 =) both stock and after I didn't get any traction. But I also only have 16x8 wheels and I forgot what size tire, they are just continental. So I think its not power you need to worry about now, just getting the damned thing moving. Control arms would help on weight transfer, so would some aftermarket springs. But the bang for the buck would be slicks.

There is nothing wrong with a 2.15 60ft on an AODE car even with a stall and gears it isn't horrible.

Your car is down on power...89mph is a joke. Take your car down to a dyno and figure out the problem there. Otherwise just find someone with wideband so you can troubleshoot.

Control Arms an that car are gonna do nothing for hook....Just a waste of money at this point.
