Will Granada spindles lead to problems w/ aftermarket UCA?

I have a question about my set-up and aftermarket UCA. A PO of my 68 Mustang converted to front discs. I think they're Granada, but I'm trying to figure out for sure. In doing searches for my suspension set-up, I've run across some threads that say these (Granada) spindles will be okay for stock pieces but may not work well w/ some aftermarket UCA. Would these spindles be a problem w/ ORP Road Race or Autocross UCA if I don't lower them more than the 1" Shelby drop?

I'm just curious if I need to alter my game plan. Thanks for any feedback that anyone can give me!

I will continue to search, but would welcome any input.

Thanks! Bryan

If the setups were designed to be compatible with the stock spindles, I don't see that it would be any problem with the Granada spindles. The Granada spindles are slightly different from earlier stock Mustang spindles (mostly just beefier), but they have the same pickup points as the original in regards to balljoint mounting points.

Ultrastang,
I know that you know, but by "early stock spindles" you mean 65-66. Also, 67+ spindles and Granada spindles share identical balljoint AND steering arm mount point geometries. So I agree, any suspension component intended for 67+ Mustang should work with Granada spindles.

FYI, My 65-66 geometry "Granada" spindles are in transit and will arrive at my warehouse next week along with a bunch of goodies that I am going to include as added content in my kit.

I agree the problem with the Grenada spindles are ONLY on the early cars 65-66.
