seriously this is going to sound a little hillbillyish but just jack your car up. then jack up the wheel till the suspenison is all the way compressed then wrap your spring in wire then drop the jack and it will be i a nice tight bundle. BE VERY CAREFUL!!! i wouldnt try it myself but it is a way.

I removed lowering springs from mine with a large floor jack, but I dont think you will get the stockers back in without a compressor. You can usually rent one for free from autozone or someplace like that. I have seen folks build their own too. Do a search here and check the similar threads at the bottom of this page, you will find all the info you want and more.
my cousin did it to his 97 cobra and i worked fine ok bud. so its possible but im very clumbsy and would probably not wrap the coil tight enough ok pal thats why i said that.and you cant rent one for free it cost 40 somethin dollars to rent it as a deposit.
would recommend using a spring compressor tool to take them out. it is a lot safer than using wire or just lettign them down without anything. IN the back you will not need to use it but in the front it is a must for getting them back in. the a arm will only go so far down and you will need to compress the springs to get them in between the a arm adn the chasis. good luck
