I want to go with gt40p and a cobra intake from stock some people have told me I wont notice a difference. I would really hate to spend all the money not to notice a difference. The car is auto with 410 gears. People who have done this please chime in.

You will notice a difference. If you're going to swap heads you should do a cam too while you have the top of the engine off.

Well, let's see - I went from 219RWHP to 277RWHP - is that worth it?

my friend just got done putting gt40ps on his stang.

He had a cam, stock heads and intake.

Once he got the heads it got some power.
The first thing i noticed is it SCREAMS all the way to the rev limiter. The whole powerband moved up. will eat tires for breakfast.

my stock cammed car peaks torque around 3k
His car peaks torque at like 5k feels like and keeps pulling. His car is a high rpm car now.
He still has the stock intake though.

Yes, the manifold has a light port job - to match the head flow capability on all runners. The heads are not ported, but they do have good undercut Manley race valves in 1.85/1.55" size and a good valve job.

Your buddy needs to port his lower intake, regardless of how it feels SOTP..........
