I have an 01' GT auto.
MAC Longtubes with o/r h-pipe
100 shot NX
I am having 4.10's installed this weekend along with a flip chip dyno tune
with one setting for n/a and one for NO2.

With 4.10's and 100 or 150 shot wet NX will I possibly be subject to breaking a stock axle?

Dark Knight GT

I can't get it up......ok that didn't sound right.

Just stock tires for now, Goodyear Eagles. I might change to nittos in the future, or maybe just for track use.

Man you are still on stock tires? That's incredible, mine died after about 12k, and I heard that was pretty good for 'em. Hell, my cobra ate through it's Eagle F1's by 8000. I would not be concerned with your axle snapping, especially with the auto controlling it. You'll be just fine.

Im not going to say you wont break anything for certain, however, I think you'll be ok for now. The good thing is its the stock Goodyears so they arent exactly a sticky tire. If you decide to become a serious track racer and run DR's or slicks at the track with that level of power, I recommend upgrading to a 31 spline rear end.

I agree get some nice 31 splines and new diff. to get the worries out of the way and launch on some nice sticky slicks!
