If my air pump is gone, can I get into closed loop?
Without Airpump will it messup the fuel calibration or the calibration of the O2 Sensors?

Yes. However, in my old age I have come to the conclusion that the smog pump does not eat a noticable amount of power and I only remove them for space and access reasons. I've never even seen a tenth at the track by removing the smog pump. On the same note, its much easier to get to your sparkplugs with the smog hoses gone. Just plug the vacuum lines that went to the smog stuff and you should be fine. I would bet that 9 out of 10 stangnet guys do not have a smog pump. Everything must work ok because were here everyday chattering like women about our cars.
