Will the FR500 Fit a foxbody GT 87-93 help

Okay guys I made an order of fr500 in chrome, 18x10 rear with 295/35/18 and in front 18x9 with 265/35/18 will these fit... I'm thinking they might work but not sure.... Okay right now I have 5lug conversion with 17x10 with 315/35/17r nittos drags and in front 17x9 with 245/40/17r (1990 mustang gt)

it looks like the tire profile is the same so I dont see any issues. worse case the rear rubs and you flip your quads and roll the fenders.
are you running fox length axles?

what wheels are you running now?

its the 265s i would be leary about....gonna be close to those front fender extensions...might need a little trimming where they wrap around..

what parts did you use for the 5 lug? its gonna have to be stock length axles and 94/95 spindles. be prepared to roll/cut the fender lips and to massage the inner fenders with a BFH followed by some undercoat.

i run a 285/40/18 in the rear on an 18x10 and a 17x9 up front with a 245/40/17.

I agree depends on your set up. Mine fit, but the front suspension needs some work before the tires fit perfect.

It's a roll of the dice. I suggest 94-95 front spindles. Fox length rear axles, and a big hammer to hit the rear frame rail in if need be. I have 17X8 30mm offset 97 Cobra wheels on my 91 notch and they rub the rear section of the K-member when turning...(complete wheel lock) You should be okay, it'll just take a day of "fabrication" and "fitment" to make them work.

Right now I have the 50resto 5 lug conversion set up.. with (Bullets) 17x10 in the rear with 315/30/17 and in front 17x9 with 255/40/17 but i have a 1/4 inch spacers on all for wheels ... I'll take some pictures so you guys could see what I'm talking about, I just the fr500 cause they looks sick thanks for replying....

You can run all wheels, but some wheels you cannot run the center caps. I know Cobra R's will work, and Bullit wheels will work. FR500's...no, 99GT wheels...no, 96-98 split spoke...no.

You may consider 94-95 spindles. They will push the wheels out about 5mm on each side. You might be able to do away with the spacer. What is the offset on the 18X9's. They are usually 22mm aren't they?

I thought the 18x10s were 22mm and the 18x9s were 24 mm when I bought them? Not FR500s, but the Bullitts which should be the same.

bullitts should not fit the 5.0 resto kit unless he has modified the dust cap or is running without it. didnt he say he is using a spacer though?

25TH---I think you're right. The fronts are 24mm. The rear is 22mm.

STYK--- I thought I could have been wrong on the Bullits...I though the center cap had enough room, I guess not.

I could be wrong, but I just recall seeing people having issues with those wheels and the lincoln rotor kit.
from what I have heard none of the wheels after 95 will fit without modifying the dust cap.

Yeah most factory wheels have issues. Worth it to just go with SN95 stuff, you can find them cheap, upgrade easily to Cobra stuff later, and run any wheel you want.

i have the lincoln front brake setup on my 88 and bullitts will not fit. swapping to sn95 spindles/cobra brakes soon to fix that issue
