will the kenne bell fit ?

Well the performer rpm is already in the garage and port matched to the heads. The 4.6 car takes mama to the movies. The 86 5.0 car is gettin cut up like t-bone steak on Sunday night and got a line on some cheap boost !!

I can't say as I've ever taken the time to look at a Performer RPM intake but Idon't imagine it's much like the stock intake. I mean, why would anyone buy it if it were? The short answer is "NO". The ports won't line up.

p.s. why would you put a twin screw on a 5.0? thought those were mostly put on modular 4.6's? unless you're in the wrong forum lol

I can't imagine why anyone would do such a damned fool thing.

different port sizes and shapes.... my advice would be to sell the one you have now... use the money to buy a gt-40 lower... KB makes one for that and i think youll enjoy that much better, otherwise your forcing through stock you want to force air thru bigger runners and even have it ported even better

Daggar,
I seriously want to put a Kenne Bell on my 92 EFI that is in my 65. I have not seen any early cars with one.

Would you mind taking a measurement from the center of the Dist. cap to the driver’s side and tell me how far the discharge tube goes over? I don't know if it will clear my shock tower.

Also what cam would you recommend for this setup?

These are the mods/setup I have now:
1992 - 5.0 with GT-40 upper, Extrude Honed lower intake
World Product heads Sr. milled 40 thousands
Edelbrock 65-mm throttle body
24 lbs injectors w/30's on the shelf.
73-mm mass air and 10" conical K & N air filter
Lunati cam: Advertised Duration-279 IN, 286 EX. Valve lift .522 IN. .510 EX. Custom 1-1/2" long tube headers, a Dr. Gas X-crossover
2-1/2" mandrel bent exhaust & Walker mufflers.
2.95 Cobra World-Class T-5z transmission with a Pro-5.0 shifter.
The rear gear is a 9" 3:50 limited slip.
MagnaTraction Master bars.
Total Control's Kit 1, sub-frame connectors & Kit 2, X-brace connector.
The battery has been relocated to the trunk and a 255-lph in tank fuel pump installed.

Will have the A9L dyno’ed tuned after the install.

Anything else I should have (within reason) of course? There is a budget here. :)

Thanks
