I am laying this out now. I have a Moser (built for fox swap) housing which measures 54 1/8" end-to-end with 11" Torino hubs. The overall width of the rear end, wheel mounting surface to surface, will be 61 5/8". I will source 61" axles from a late 70's Granada.
I'm putting this in an 88 coupe, former 4-banger where the 7.5 measures 57 1/2" wheel mounting surface to surface.
So I'm gaining about 4" overall. I want to use 15x10 steel rims and M/T ET Street tires.
What backspacing will I need? Anybody got similar specs on their 9" swaps? Will this even fit at all, or do I have to narrow the housing or use different brakes?
