as ya'll have seen and read i am in the process of the mark 8 swap.....

i cant find a cobra ecm at a reasonable price but i have this other ecm laying here its from a 97 4.6 sohc 5 speed ... will it work???

yes and no. you can delete the imrc's and lengthen some wires(easier said then done) add a tune, and that should work. i know a guy that did it. depending on what year your car is, might need to have some options turned off i.e. PATS.
