Well you dont have mass air i would assume, that might be a problem.

That kit is really for Mass Air instead of speed density (unless you have a california 88). Could you make it work - yes - if you take out the air flow meter and put something else in between. Of course, since it comes with the meter, it may be an excellent time to convert to mass air (if you want)

Whoa! I dont know the differnce. Not a car guy... here is a pic... what do I have? My car is from Cali aswell....

You have Mass Air. All 88 Mustangs from California had to have it. The other states didnt. Mine is from Texas and is speed density.
