Go ahead and get the TMOSS lower and slap a 65mm Accufab TB and EGR plate, don't forget an upgraded MAF like the C&L 73 or 76mm unit. You'll feel a difference in throttle responce and the car will breath a lot better.

If you're going to stick a bigger tb on the stock intake you *really* should port-match it. The stock intake port is only 60mm. If you stick a 65mm tb on a 60mm opening you won't really see any benefits, if anything the turbulence from the air hitting a hard edge might cost you some power.

Everyone I have ever measured has been 63mm - but it is still a good idea (and easy to do) to open it up to 65-67mm.

How is it easy to open the intake to 65-67?

Can I do it myself?

yeah buy a porting and polishing kit from summit if you want it realy smooth otherwise just use a grinding stone on a die grinder or dremel tool. Just open up the intake by removing aluminum so its just as big as the TB.

If you use a stone, be sure to use lots of spray lube in it to keep the aluminum from laoding up the stone pours.
