So, I'm a pretty knowledgeable car guy, but when it comes to audio/electrics.....im an idiot. Im looking to replace the cd player in a 98 mustang, and im just curious if something like this: Lanzar SD37MU In-Dash DVD Players (with monitor) In-Dash Car Stereo Receivers and Head Units Car Audio and Video - Sonic Electronix would not only FIT where the cd player is, but will it work as well? Thanks in advance

The short answer is yes, but you'll probably want to get a wiring adaptor, to ensure proper functioning.

So there wont be any fitment issues? Also, any idea where I could get an adapter?

Not to go too far off topic, but since you brought up Lanzar,I thought I'd chime in a little note about this company.Lanzar is one of those manufactures who several years or more ago used to design top of the line high quality products.I know,I owned a "15 sub and a 900 watt high current amp from them. They were very good.Today however, their quality has dropped to near bottom. Some time ago, some other low end company bought out Lanzar and degraded the Lanzar product line with this companies low end products.Lanzar is like Legacy.A product you will probably find in JC Whittney.I'm not here to bash Lanzar or talk trash,I'm only letting you know that it probably wouldn't be a very good idea to invest your $$$ on a Lanzar product.Pephaps...and then again their quality may have improved.

Just my opinion
