It depends on where he all welded it. If he just welded the mufflers than yes, you can get an x pipe on. Now if he welded a cat back system up, then you will have to cut and weld the x pipe on. Easiest way is look under your car and see if you see any clamps before the mufflers or if its welded. either way You can always take it to a muffler shop and have them install the x pipe.

If it is welded together and needs cutting I recommend ditching the flows and getting a whole catback....Bassani

You should be able to add an x-pipe, I put mine on after I had the flowmasters welded in. The install is fairly easy provided the x-pipe fits good (no exhaust leaks) it is just a matter of unbolting the stock pipe and bolting in the new one. I noticed a nice power increase with my off road x-pipe, it freed it up alot!

theres a really good chance later on down the road you're gonna want a real cat back in the long run. Save your money and do it right and once.

It will not work. I ran into this when I had my X-Pipe installed. The one that was shipped to me was for a 96-98 and the oxygen sensor holes are in a different place than on my 02. I ended up having to get a different one.

Also, I have Flowmasters with my o/r x pipe. It sounds very good, but is very loud. If you love the sound of your car while you drive, keep the flows. If not, I would go with something else.

By the way,I went with a UPR X-Pipe. Excellent quality and a very reasonable price.
