i been looking at the steeda windage trays, i know there good because they keep the oil in the pan when hard driving, steeda has one an its only 30 bucks, is anyone running them?

i had the one made by canton on the ex's car. i replaced it when i was swapping k members. other wise it is a royal PITA!
the canton one is 85$... and mine will be on a engine stand
i know its not one of the parts that everbody buys, but while you right there it cant hurt....

oh, i totally agree with you. i have heard anywhere from 10-12 hp gains. but i cant really feel anything, but i liked having it in there b/c thats one of those parts that benefit your car as you add more to it. if your engine is on a stand then i say go for it! as far as the canton part, i really liked it. great quality and perfect fitment.
yeah the canton one looks a little better then the steeda one, but its more then twice the price...i read that you have to use rtv sealer on the canton one.

awful lot of labor time/cost for that mod - what would the benefits be for daily driven bolt on car?
im not taking the motor out just to put it in, there supposed to keep oil in the pan when hard driving, and keep the crank out of the oil, reducing restriction and adding horse power...

its only worth it when you have to do something like a k member swap. when i do the k member on my car ill go with the canton again. yes, i had to use a new pan gasket and then some rtv. i never had one leak while we were still together, me and the ex that is. i wasnt talking about me and the car being together...it was her car anyways. ok, i think im done now. lol

hmmm - what type of power will that add? I'm contemplating adding LT's or CAM's (parts + labor on either item will be similar) and with the LT's they may remove K member from what I've seen on the install writeups(if they don't pull the motor out of the top) and that would make a convenient time to add in an extra goodie!
maybe 8-10hp, but ever little bit adds up....do cams and lt's (see sig
) my motor will be out of the car completly because i rebuilding my bottom end, so ill be right there
