Window clunk

I have an 03 Mach1. I have had the dealer fix a clunk caused by the driver's side window when it hits the bottom of its track. They said a 'stop' came loose. Well it did it again and I hate to waste time taking it back to a dealer if the fix is simple. Anyone else ever have this problem? Thanks

I have the same thing

I really hope someone has some tech info on this. My driver side window has been doing that exact same thing for a while. I have the convertible so it was bugging the $hit out of me during the summer but now I don't notice it (not rolling the window down-it's cold as heck here). I would love to have it fixed by next spring though. I hate going to the dealer. Big pain for me. Have to get a loaner and I am out of town alot so it takes forever. Anyway hope someone knows the answer to this. Thanks....Ken

My '04 has done that since I drove it off the lot. I brought it in once, they claimed the regulator wasn't properly lubricated, so they lubed it.. it didn't do a damn thing. I learned to deal with it.

No. Its got something to do with stops attached to the bottom of the window. For some reason it/they come off. Passenger side is so quiet you can't hear it.

Does anyone have problems with either of their windows making a horrible screeching sound when they go down/come up?... my passenger side window just started that and it's the most god-awful sound i've ever heard come from my car... rather embarassing to me
