Window is scraping, help !!

Hey Fellas,

The inside of my Mustang coupe's window is being scratched to hell and i am not sure what part i need and where to get it.

The part i need is the one with felt on it and there are two per door, they only contact the inside portion of the window.

When i try to tell mustang parts people what i need, they do not know for sure what i am talking about.

I really don't want to order the wrong part and deal with the headaches and thought you would know exactly what i need.

Why not just walk the darn parts guy out from the counter to your car and show him?? I think the part is just called a "window scraper" at least thats what I've called them for years. There may be some collage word for it but.........

It might be possible to just make one. They don't seem to be that high tech......late eighties and early ninties. Not that high tech at all.

the part you need is called a Window Track Guide. i have no clue if they sell the felt part seperate or not. they sell the plastic guide bushing seperate tho. you might be able to tear the old felt off and find some new felt and get some high-strength glue and make your own. i had a pair of guides awhile back with good felt on them but threw them out.
