While my ride - 68 Coupe - is in the paint shop, I'm going to get all of the door internals ready to go back in. How best to clean them (Green or Orange stuff?) without the disposal problems of old-style cleaners like gasoline? After everything is cleaned up, should I put anything on them to keep them that way or are they made of non rusting/corroding materials?

Thanks! and I'm sure I'll be back to ask for help on the re-assembly of the same things I tore apart 2 months ago!

I'm doing the same thing right now for my '68 coupe. The window parts had no rust, so I'm just going to clean them up with green degreaser and then use white lithium grease on the window tracks.

It may be that no one liked your "68 coupe" link to a Willy's coupe, unrelated to stangs?

For some reason, the first time I looked at you post, there was a link to a "Coupe" that brought me to a Willys coupe website for some reason. No need to wrooy now. Sorry
