I did some net searching and it was all people guessing..

92 vert passenger side front window is skweaky . I was gonna start with lubeing the tracts and looking at the bushings.

You mean while you roll it down? If so, try lightly pulling in on it while it is rolling down, and if the squeak goes away, then I bet it is your outer window seals. (The ones that are at the base of the window outside the door)

Be careful when replacing them. I'd try to put the adjustment back to where the factory had it to start. It will play heck with your window/top alignment if you get them all jacked out. Mark it well so you have a starting place to return to.

Ok!!! I finally got both bushings in.

Drivers side was a breeze, got it, needed almost no adjusting.

Passenger side took two try's ( window fell out of front rubber guide) and it will need more adjusting, it seems like either the bushing was gone for so long or it was already adjusted by the last guy, I got it all to line up minus the rear up stop, I removed it till I can finish it on Saturday, but the window no longer squeaks and it seals proper in the rear too!

Job done. These bad boys were so badly adjusted it was silly, i think the last guy adjusted the windows to compensate for the lack of bushings. Everything works great now and good seals all around!

Ok so I have to do the same thing to my car my only question is how do you adjust the windows? I did all new rubber with my new top and my bushings are nonexistent. I also ordered from lmr I get everything from them. The bushings should be here on Monday. My window is so missadjusted that it does not seal to the new rubber.

I'm going to be using talk to text, so bear with me inside the door there are series of bolts are you loosing that allows the window to be Adjusted.

I'll post the picture below

The thing I learned about doing it is make sure to completely loose in the window up stops completely, do not tighten them until very The last.

A good place to start is to loosen, but not remove all the bolts, rolled the window all away up and shut the door, and once you have it aligned where you wanted to start tightening the bolts, again don't do the up stops until last

Well the passenger side went very well. The driver on the other hand is not working with me. The windows on the driver side do not seem to be able to roll up as far as I need them to. With them all the way up I still have a gap at the top..... New rubber and a new top I'm at a loss.
