Window tinting in WA

I tried searching here on Stangnet, and also on WA.gov's web site. I couldn't find anything pertaining to window tinting. Is it legal in the state of WA, if so, what shades, ie: 35%, 40%, factory tint? I'm going to be moving to WA soon, and don't want to have the window's in my truck tinted and than have to remove it there when I go to register my vehicle.

Wow, WA is more lenient than IA. In Iowa, you can't have any tint on the front sides. I don't have a sticker to prove that my tint is WA legal though, since it was tinted when I still lived in Iowa.

20% from a professional is pretty much the legal limit in WA cuz its not as dark as most think. i have 5% all the way around on my gt and have been pulled over many time. basicly the cop said the 5% is fine on teh rear windows but the door windows need a lighter smoked affect which is 20%
