I just recently purchased a 1967 mustang back that I used to own in High School. The gentleman that bought it from me then Has basically kept it in storage for the last 10 or so years starting it up once twice a month or so. He had all the body work done, painted and replaced the window door weather stripping. I am in the process of putting her all back together and let me tell ya he didn't do a very good job at keeping the bolts labeled or being easy to find. I am currently trying to get the windows taken care of. I got the vent windows back in but I am having a problem with the windows rolling up. It seems that they are binding on the weather stripping as they go up all but that last inch or so and as I try and force the handle around to get it up the door bulges out. Is there an easy fix for this? I have tried to wedge a screw driver between the bottom window edge and strip and after I get past the part that is getting caught the window goes up. Then the problem returns after I roll it down. Should I just replace the window weather stripping or is there something I can do to fix it so that they go the whole way up with out binding?
