Windshield weatherstrip

Does any one know where I can get the weatherstrip that goes across the top & sides of the windshield on the edge of the moldings. 1989 convert. I have tried the dealer, several Mustangs parts specialties, & Steele Rubber. No one seems to have it or they don,t want to mess with it. Any help will be apreciated. George

Thanks for the help. I called them & they will send them out. This is a great website. I,m basicly an old Chevy truck guy. I bought this vert. for a summer driver & it has been a great car. Thanks again, George

is that piece really needed? I thought the windshield is sealed under that metal piece. I have mine off because of painting and was thinking of not putting it back on. Anyone know if its ok to leave off?
