yeah stupid question i am aware but im tired and dont know, normally in a better mind set i would know, would it change the sound at all? of the engine? like sound less like a 5.0 ? or would it still have that sweet 5.0 sound to it?
just windsor heads, my buddy has a notch with windsor heads and he is fast as hell, but he has alot of other upgrades as well, anyways what are the normal increases over stock? and how much would a used pair run me?
my bad 351 windsor heads, it wont sound like a 351 will it? wholay hell thats a stupid question but im in a wierd mood? i think that has to do with the displacement right?
it wouldnt change that signature mustang sound, But then again 351's sound badass so who cares. Anyways it wouldnt be the best choice for heads, and in my opinion if your going to go through the hassle of swapping out your heads it might be for a set of good ones. So lok around for some used gt40's or trickflows. The power gained with one of these would be triple that of a 351windsor head.
triple? Nah.
Winsor heads are a cheap upgrade that will net you a gain for sure. But giving you an approximate, I would have to know more about your car than a "built 306"
Those trickflows, im guessing twisted wedges or something, would gain MUCH more than those 351 castings and gt-40 castings for that matter. Atleast those cheap iron used gt-40's off explorers and the like. Plus the aluminum casting is like 40lbs lighter or something.
